Steel cables are divided into black steel cables and galvanized steel cables. They are made of annealed steel wire. The whole steel cable is called steel cable. The hemp rope in the center is called hemp core. The six steel ropes around the hemp core are called steel strands. Some special steel strands have hemp ropes in the center. The hemp ropes are called steel strand hemp cores. The steel wires that make up the steel strands are called steel wires or plain wires. The center of the steel cable maintains the relative positions of the steel strands. Its materials are generally hemp core, steel strand core and wire rope core.
