Safety nets are used to prevent people and objects from falling, or to avoid and minimize fall and object impact injuries, and are generally composed of nets, side ropes, lanyards, and other components.
Safety net color, material and number of layers according to the specifications and demand for use, and subdivided into:
1. Horizontal safety net:
Installation plane is not perpendicular to the horizontal plane, used to prevent people and objects from falling or used to avoid and minimize the fall and object impact damage to the net, referred to as flat net.
2. vertical safety net : The installation plane is vertical to the horizontal plane.
The installation plane is perpendicular to the horizontal plane, used to prevent people and objects from falling, or used to avoid and minimize the fall and object strike injury net, referred to as vertical net.
3. Fine mesh safety vertical net :
Installed vertically in the horizontal plane, used to block people, sight, natural wind, splash and uncontrolled small objects of the net, referred to as the eyewall net.
Length, width and height must be measured and can be customized in feet or centimeters.
★ Waterproof, sunproof, durable, heavy duty, lightweight, acid and alkali resistant.
★ Mesh size and mesh options
★ Easy to install, durable and easy to clean, commonly used high brightness yellow color.
★ Recyclable and reusable.
Suitable for use in all corners of the world such as homes, companies, stores, schools, factories, construction sites, fisheries, agriculture, playgrounds, civil engineering, shipbuilding projects, etc. ......
Chapter 01521 Safety Nets in Construction "Standard for Safety and Health Facilities in Construction" (Article 22)
The safety nets installed by the employer shall comply with the following regulations:
1. The material, strength, inspection and hanging method of the safety net shall comply with one of the following national standards:
(a) CNS 14252.
(b) CNS 16079-1 and CNS16079-2.
2. The intercepting height from the working surface to the plane of the safety net shall not exceed 7 meters. However, steel structure assembly
However, the steel structure assembly operation may be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 151.
3. In order to cover the projected path of parabola when a laborer falls, the safety net used around the structure should be in accordance with the following requirements.
In order to cover the predicted path of a worker's parabola in case of a fall, the safety net used around the structure should be extended by an appropriate distance according to the following provisions. However, the vertical safety net should not be used if the outer edge of the structure is equipped with vertical safety net.
The intercepting height of the safety net should be less than 1.5 meters:
(a) Where the interception height is less than 1.5 meters, the safety net should be extended at least 2.5 meters.
(b) Where the interception height exceeds 1.5 meters and is less than 3 meters, the safety net should extend at least 3 meters.
(c) If the interception height exceeds three meters, the interception height shall be extended by at least four meters.
4. There shall be no obstacles between the working surface and the safety net; there shall be sufficient clearance under the safety net to avoid falling personnel hitting the net below.
5. There should be enough clear space below the safety net to avoid falling personnel hitting the plane or structure below.
Materials, garbage, debris, equipment or tools falling on the safety net should be removed immediately.
6. The safety net shall be tested immediately after stopping laborers or heavy objects, and shall be replaced immediately if its anti-fall performance is not in accordance with the provisions of paragraph.
If the safety net does not meet the requirements of paragraph 1, it should be replaced immediately.
7. Workers hanging the safety net should be protected by appropriate fall protection facilities before they are allowed to work.
8. The safety net and its components should be inspected once a week. Safety nets that are worn out, deteriorated or defective should not be used.
The safety net with wear and tear, deterioration or defects shall not be used.
